Digital or screen: which to pick?
Digital suits many designs in short runs, while screen printing is cheaper per metre once a design runs into thousands of metres.
Geetanjali Prints prints dress material, saree and garment fabric for makers and traders from New Textile Market on Ring Road, with digital, screen and sublimation printing and sample strikes before every bulk run.
Each job starts with a sample strike on your own fabric, checked for colour and repeat before the roll runs.
A four-step routine for garment makers and saree traders sending a design for printing.

A Surat fabric printer built on repeatable colour.
Geetanjali Prints started in 2007 with a single printing table and a handful of dress-material designs. Today we print digital, screen and sublimation jobs for garment makers and saree traders from our floor in New Textile Market, with every colour matched to an approved sample.
Customers return because the thousandth metre looks like the first, and because a repeat order does not need the artwork explained again.

Per-metre rates by process. Final quote after sample.
Rates exclude GST and freight. Fabric, colour count and run length change the final price; send artwork for an exact quote.
Short notes from the printing floor.
Digital suits many designs in short runs, while screen printing is cheaper per metre once a design runs into thousands of metres.
Send high-resolution files with the repeat marked, colours as RGB or Pantone references, and the final fabric width noted.
Cotton takes reactive dyes, polyester suits sublimation, and viscose gives rich colour but needs careful washing after printing.
Backlit screens show brighter colour than cloth. Always approve a physical strike before a bulk run begins.
Wash inside out in cool water, avoid bleach and dry in shade to keep prints bright through many washes.
Pick a base palette, add accent colourways and order small lots first so only the best sellers go into bulk.
